Best Unrated Player: 3 Month Diamond Membership

Overall
Best Brilliancy Game: 1 Month Diamond Membership
Best Social Media Post: 1 Month Diamond Membership

Now, you may be asking, how are some of these categories classified?

Most Improved Player (Open only): The player who has the largest difference between their current ACF rating and their performance rating, as calculated by Vega

Lucky Loser (Open only): We all make mistakes, so this award goes to the player who loses a game in a spectacular or entertaining fashion, turning a negative into a positive. Submit your game to be considered for this prize!

Quickest Checkmate (Classic only): The shortest submitted game, which ends in a checkmate! (If there is a forced checkmate in 3 or fewer moves, and the opponent resigns, the game is still eligible for this prize)

Comeback Kid (Classic only): We recognise the player who successfully comes back from a losing position to win a game! (It doesn’t have to be a kid, but Comeback kid sounds better than Comeback player)

Best Brilliancy Game (Both Open and Classic): Submit your game if you think you played an amazing and fabulous chess game, worthy of recognition!

Best Social Media Post (All Divisions): As a fun reward, we encourage players to share this tournament experience on social media! (Obviously, not in the middle of your game; you would get forfeited if you did.) The player with the most likes, shares, or creative posts will win the prize. We may give out multiple prizes if there are multiple worthy contenders!
